Dana Point, CA
The best place to visit, the greatest place to live.  Dana Point is known for its' relaxed lifestyle, beautiful beaches and fun in the sun.  Once called  "the only romantic spot on the coast".  Here you will find the famous Dana Point Harbor, the Headlands, great hikining and biking trails.  The Climate is year round mild, averaing in the mid 60's.  Typically the hottest month is  August with tempratures reaching the mid 80's.  I

Enjoy the many activities, from chasing  spectacular sunsets or walking in the sand, surfing, jet sking or sailing..  On a clear day you can see as far as San Diego and the ever lovely Santa Catalina Island.  The community is very active; check out the Annual Events here.  

The City itself was incorporated in 1989 but the actual history begins much earlier.  Richard Henry Dana, a seaman, and auhtor of the classic sea journal, Two Years Before the Mast documents his voyage from Boston to Cape Horn and then Capistrano Bay, now known as Dana Point.  More history can be found here.
